Quite possibly the best pilot shop on the east coast is tucked away in Lancaster, PA. If you've been looking for a new headset, they have a whole wall of demo's to try out (complete with a simulated engine noise generator). 1/18/2015 - Lancaster Airport also is within one mile of an IMAX theater. Google Penn Cinema to see what's playing. The wife and I flew in for dinner at the Flight Deck Resteraunt at the airport then took a cab to see American Sniper in the IMAX theater, what an experience! Are home airport is inside of the Washing DC SFRA, so, a word of caution. DO NO USE YELLOW CAB IF YOU HAVE TO FILE A TIME SENSITIVE FLIGHT PLAN. We had much better luck with Lancaster City Cab 717-701-1151. KLNS is a great destination for dinner and a movie. - Submitted by HERB
4/30/2009 - Stopped at KLNS and needed starter repairs,KLNS Aircraft Services took care of problem right on the spot. Fast service reasonable prices. - Submitted by george
