Grissom Air Museum
Air Museum with in walking distance of GA ramp. Rare B-58 Hustler supersonic bomber as well as about 30 other A/C. Indoor exhibits and movie theather. Grissom is open to General Aviation, tell tower you are going to civilian ramp. - Submitted by Pete Speth

3/24/2021 - It has been several years since I visited. But what a great place. Fabulous exhibits and extraordinary outdoor aircraft on display. When flying in be prepared for the largest runway ever. Can be seen for miles out. - Submitted by Jim Fisher
7/16/2016 - Landed at kgus Grissom and walked to the museum. It's just a 15 minute walk down the sidewalk. Walter from Montgomery aviation offered a ride there. We noticed across the street from the museum the Dutch cafe. What a great find. Amish style buffet restaurant. Walked back to fbo and across the street is the leaning tree golf course also a sign that said open for lunch. Next door to the fbo is the Huey helicopter museum. Nice ga friendly airport with very little traffic. Don't let the Air Force base scare you away. Self serve fuel pumps with credit card reader. - Submitted by Al

Museum is need of volunteers to assist in maintenance of static aircraft, facility and assistance with events. Call or contact via facebook/website to learn more.
A wonderful classic car museum is 15 miles to the south in Kokomo, IN! The museum is Kokomo Classic Car museum. Also there is some restaurants but most close early on weekends
