The IBRs and Turbine Disk Value Stream, in the Airfoils and Composites Product Center, is looking for a Supply Chain Manager who will be responsible for driving overall quality, cost, and delivery assurance processes to ensure product delivery and customer satisfaction.  This leadership position requires superior communication and analytical skills.  The role of the Supply Chain Manager (SCM) is both exciting challenging. This position requires exceptional critical thinking skills the ability to build efficient working relationships across the many PW functional groups.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership of a team of Account Specialists
  • Supplier relationships:  delivery and quality performance, cost and inventory management, Line of Balance (LOB), business reviews, underperforming supplier reviews, customer satisfaction.
  • Purchase order execution / product delivery:  on time order placement, billing adjustments, tooling requirements, negotiation / cost reduction.
  • Raytheon code of Ethics, International Trade Compliance, PW procurement manual, standard work, transition Standard work, and other areas of compliance
  • Actively working with PWPR management and buyers on timely order quotation/placement and delivery assurance functions.
  • Interaction with the Regional Office personnel, Supplier Quality Assurance Representatives (SQAR’s), MCL, ESA, Continuous Improvement Specialists, the GWS “Buyers Planners” providing procurement materials management for the commodities.
  • Coordination with Engineering Support to Operations (eSTO), Integrated Program Management Teams (IPMT), and Component Integrated Product Teams (CIPT) as well as the Command Center and Engine Center.
  • Use CORE tools to improve EHS, quality, delivery, financial, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field and 8 years of experience in operations, supply chain, program management, or related field; OR an Advanced Degree with 5 years of experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong working knowledge in SAP 
  • Experience with collaborating with customers and suppliers
  • Experience with PW Procurement Systems and Standard Work
  • Extensive delivery assurance experience and ability to mitigate risk
  • CORE (formerly ACE) experience and analytical/metrics driven approach
  • Energetic initiative-taker

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
