Qualifications
- Associates degree in mechanical or aeronautical Engineering or a related technical
field; or 4 year’s experience in an 14 CFR 121 Maintenance Programs or Technical
department.
- FAA Mechanic Certificate with a Rating of Airframe and/or Powerplant and/or have at
least five years of Maintenance Program development experience on different types of
large airplanes with 10 or more passenger seats with an air carrier.
- Have at least two years of experience in a supervisory capacity supporting the same
category and class of aircraft as Republic Airways Inc. operates.
- Understands and is able to apply Company policies and procedures.

Duties, Authorities, and Responsibilities Include:
- Control and create aircraft, engine, and component maintenance programs.
- Develop and implement the airline’s maintenance programs to comply with FAA
regulations.
- Ensure the airworthiness and safe operation of aircraft, engines, and components that
the Company operates.
- Ensure that leased and purchased aircraft maintenance programs are evaluated and
that they are properly bridged to the Company FAA-approved programs.
- Ensure the airline’s fleet complies with ADs that affect the Fatigue Critical Structural,
Inspection Documents (SSIDs) and Corrosion Prevention and Control Program
(CPCP).
- Ensure that all airline’s maintenance programs are safe and compliant with FAA
regulations.
- Coordinate between Technical Services, Aircraft Records, Planning, Engineering, and
all other Maintenance groups to ensure maintenance programs are maintained in
accordance with the policies of the FAA, aircraft and component manufacturers.
- Timely update of all airline’s maintenance programs from maintenance-related
technical data including maintenance manuals, IPCs, wiring diagrams, as well as, the
supplements for each of these documents.
- Directly responsible for the timely update of the airline’s maintenance program.
- Provide program-related instructions, work documents, and control procedures that are
consistent with CFR, FAA-approved programs, and the airline’s policy and CASS.
- Analyze Reliability Program-generated data and recommend time extensions for
aircraft, engines, and components.
- Ensure that department personnel, including themselves, are properly trained,
qualified, and current to perform assigned tasks.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Engineering.
