Flight Mechanic (Licensed)Location: Anywhere in the US
Type: Full-Time, On-site
 Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Flight Mechanic to travel, inspect, modify, and repair aircraft at our maintenance bases domestically and internationally. This role involves troubleshooting technical discrepancies, executing repairs, and providing leadership to other mechanics on advanced tasks. The position requires proficiency with electronic test equipment and the ability to coordinate materials, tooling, and manpower requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Duties
  • Mechanic will fly with aircraft to stations lacking support
  • Handles both passenger and cargo fleet
  • No direct reports (important distinction from typical management roles)
  • Location flexible - can live anywhere in US
  • Schedule: 20 days on/10 days off rotation
Required Qualifications
  • Valid FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings
  • 5+ years of flight maintenance experience specifically on 747/767 platforms.
  • Proven experience traveling with aircraft to support operations
  • Valid passport for international travel
Documentation & Compliance
  • Ensure accurate completion of aircraft documentation per company and FAA procedures
  • Communicate discrepancies to Maintenance Control department
  • Perform manual and aircraft parts inventories
  • Maintain safety measures and cleanliness standards
  • Support on-time departure of aircraft
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of flight maintenance experience specifically on 747/767 platforms.
  • Proven experience traveling with aircraft to support operations
  • Valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
  • Transport category aircraft maintenance experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Formal training on advanced systems/avionics
  • Valid passport or State issued driver's license
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft software and digital manuals
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Compensation will be based on experience, skillset, and location within the stated range
