Position: Program Manager / Assistant Chief
Location: Conroe, Texas
Airport: Conroe-North Houston Regional Airport (KCXO)
Collegiate Partner: Lone Star College (Montgomery Campus)
Reports to: US Aviation Director of Collegiate Programs

This position is within the Operations division of US Aviation Academy. The primary focus of the Program Manager / Assistant Chief concerns both the quality and quantity of training within the Lone Star College collegiate program.

Job Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement action plans to maintain exceptional safety standards and #8220;#8230; on#8208;time and on#8208;budget#8221; results
-Work closely with Lone Star College management and staff
-Work with other US Aviation managers to identify risks and opportunities
-Control progress and production to meet deadlines
-Lead and evaluate Supervisors and assigned staff
-Assess program performance and aim to maximize return on investment
-Prepare reports for company clients, executives and shareholders
-Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks
Skills and Qualifications:
-Focused on safety initiatives
-Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
-Excellent interpersonal relations with highly evolved customer service orientation
-Proven ability to work with people in culturally diverse environments
-Flight training experience under CFR 14 Part 141
-Proven experience managing a team
-Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
-Bachelor's Degree in Aviation or related field/experience
-Proven presentation skills
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
-Previous experience managing at a large FAA Part 141 Flight Training Academy
-Previous experience in a collegiate flight academy training environment
-CFR 14 Part 121 Experience
-CFI/CFII/MEI/ATP
