Supervisor for the Airframe Engineering team for new product and aircraft designs at Cirrus Aircraft
Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Supervisory Responsibility: This position will have functional and technical responsibility for degreed engineers.
The Airframe Engineering Supervisor ensures the technical competency, consistency and standardization of the airframe design group through use of strong Creo/PDM CAD skills, composite design and manufacturing knowledge, GDT, structural analysis, and airplane certification experience. The Airframe Engineering supervisor must also have a passionate vision for where the group needs to technically progress, and use their strong leadership, communication skills and industry, academic, and vendor partnerships to make that vision a reality.
The airframe engineering supervisor must be highly organized and decisive as they attend to the administrative and personnel requirements of the team, and workload distribution across team members to support projects.
