We are partnered with a Part 91 client who is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join their team. This role involves daily maintenance and repair of various aircraft, including the Piper Cheyenne IV, Piper Cheyenne I, Beechcraft Barons (55 & 58), Cirrus SR22, Mooney M20F, and other corporate aircraft that transit the Montgomery facility. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform installation of air conditioning systems and other Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) in general aviation piston aircraft.
• Inspect engines and other components for cracks, defects, or damage, determining necessary repairs or replacements.
• Conduct testing of engine and operating systems to ensure proper functionality using a range of specialized tools.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and replace malfunctioning equipment; conduct in-flight tests and make adjustments as needed.
• Refer to maintenance manuals and technical specifications to verify proper operating conditions.
• Modify aircraft systems or components as necessary to meet operational requirements.
• Ensure all aircraft are inspected and approved for return to service in compliance with FAA regulations. 

Requirements:

• FAA A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) Mechanic Certification is required.
• FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) Certification is required.
• Must complete a minimum of 16 hours of training every 24 months to maintain certification.
• Experience in maintaining and repairing light jets, single/twin turboprops, and piston-engine aircraft is essential.
