JOB SUMMARY:

The Content Marketing Manager will possess the ability to think both creatively and analytically. This hands-on role is responsible for developing, planning, and implementing Textron Aviationrsquo;s overall content strategy. This individual will also manage assets within multiple environments both online and off-line (website, email, CMS, etc.).

The Content Marketing Manager will manage a team of digital, multimedia, graphic and automation associates.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and support direct reports by providing an environment for growth and coaching while encouraging futuristic thinking to challenge the status quo.
  • Responsible for leading the daily maintenance and design of company websites.
  • Develop content strategies across platforms that support developing thought leadership, driving awareness and traffic, nurturing sales, and closing deals.
  • Manage digital assets within multiple environments, such as Journey and content management systems (CMS).
  • Assist in the coordination/direction of shoots or production that need the support of outsourced film crews, directors, production houses etc.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders, marketing teammates, other departments and industry experts to create effective strategies and produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.
  • Create and maintain metric reports on marketing activities, effectiveness and business impact.
  • Analyze marketing data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization.
  • Guides conversation on advanced digital marketing strategies to nurture, engage and drive conversion.
  • Manage content/digital budget and assure the spend is delivering a return on investment.

Requirements:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelorrsquo;s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related discipline
  • 7 years of related experience required
    • 5 years content creation experience preferred
    • 2 years technical website experience preferred
  • Leadership experience preferred


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Data-driven and highly analytical
  • Proficiency with Google and social media analytics
  • Experience working with websites in multiple languages (HTML, Java Script, CSS)
  • Experience/consistent performance in deadline-oriented environment due to tight time restraints and volume of work
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Website UTM tagging knowledge
  • Sitecore and Marketo experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of databases, marketing automation, web servers, and CRM systems
  • Editorial mindset that aligns with business goals and seeks to add value to the reader/customer
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Project management
