Permanent and Contract

Fort St. John, BC

2 weeks on/2 weeks off


#215;Participation in our Safety Management System Program.
#215;Fly single engine helicopter to transport passengers and freight in Northern BC.
#215;Be familiar with all available flight information, including weather, and applicable NOTAMs where available, and determine fuel and oil requirements.
#215;Ensure all required aircraft maintenance work has been completed.
#215;Calculate aircraft weight and balance.
#215;Complete VFR Flight Itinerary and Flight Risk Assessment, as applicable.
#215;Complete the aircraft preflight inspection before each departure.
#215;Supervise and carry out the loading and securing of passengers, freight or external loads.
#215;Complete all post flight duties, including filing arrival reports and confirmation to the company of whereabouts of the helicopter when operating away from the base, recording flight times and any defects.
#215;Maintain documents and equipment while on the base
#215;Liaise with clients to ensure their needs are satisfied.
May perform other duties, assigned
#215;Current Canadian CPL (H) or ATPL (H) and Medical.
#215;Valid Driver's License and valid Passport
#215;Personal GPS unit and mandatory flight helmet.
#215;Personal cell phone
#215;Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required.

Bell 212 Pilot Requirements:
#215;Minimum 3000 hours total time on Helicopters.
#215;500 hours on Multi-Engine Helicopters considered an asset.
#215;100 hours on Bell 212
#215;Willing to endorse pilots that have experience with vertical reference on Bell 204/205/214
#215;Logging experience considered an asset

AS350 BA/B2/B3 Pilot Requirements:
#215;Minimum 2000 hours Total time on Helicopters.
#215;50 hours on Type.
#215;Wildlife experience is an asset (surveys, capture, and telemetry).
#215;Heli Skiing experience is an asset
#215;BC approved Mountain Course is required.
#215;Mountain and vertical reference is required.
#215;ACP considered an asset.
#215;Tree planting experience considered an asset.
#215;Training experience considered an asset.
#215;Class D certification considered an asset.
#215;BC Hydro certification considered an asset.
#215;Powerline experience considered an asset.
#215;Current and valid H2S Alive, Level 1 First Aid is required.
