What will you be doing

Collaborates with and supports Frontiers General Counsel and leadership team in (i) handling compliance and governance-related matters and (ii) conducting a transactional practice in support of all areas of Frontiers business and providing advice, guidance, and representation on legal and compliance matters.

Essential Functions

  • Efficiently review, revise, draft, negotiate and advise on sophisticated and complex contracts, including professional services, computer services, SaaS and IT licenses, ground handling, airport and hangar leases, construction, customer service, marketing, e-commerce and promotions, equipment and materials purchases, supply chain, repair, and maintenance. While the Sr. Director will be capable of handling any type of agreement, prior experience in the areas of real estate (including construction) is required and IT is particularly sought.
  • Work cooperatively and closely with all levels of management and operational personnel to provide efficient and practical business solutions.
  • Prepares agendas, pre-meeting materials, resolutions and minutes for meetings of Board Committees.
  • Identify and analyze risks and deliver practical and efficient solutions to business and regulatory issues faced by the company, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Oversee and advise management and personnel on compliance matters under cyber security, data privacy, and other corporate governance rules and regulations.
  • Stays abreast of emerging best practices and trends through self-study and participation in the Association of Corporate Counsel.

      Qualifications

      • JD with strong academic credentials required, T20 law school preferred
      • Current State Bar of Colorado law license in good standing, or the ability to gain single-client certification with the Colorado Supreme Court Office of Attorney Registration without delay following date of hire required
      • 7+ years of demonstrated corporate experience at a mid-size to large law firm or in-house legal department required
      • Prior airline industry experience and/or experience in publicly held companies is preferred
      • Demonstrates a positive and professional attitude and demeanor

        Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

        • Excellent writing, research, and communication skills
        • Strong interpersonal communications and ability to collaborate appropriately with all levels of corporate personnel, to position the Legal Department as an ally of internal clients while also protecting the company from risk
        • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail. Demonstrates a history of effectively managing and prioritizing concurrent projects/tasks and consistently meeting deadlines.
        • Possesses a high level of confidentiality in performance of duties
        • Task-oriented with the ability to anticipate and identify issues while developing and implementing solutions
        • Demonstrates the flexibility required to manage varying workloads
        • Demonstrates a positive and professional attitude and demeanor

        Base Salary Range $156,520.00 - $200,000 plus STI and LTI.
