The First Officer is responsible for delivering great customer service, while ensuring safe and timely flight operations in accordance with all Company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations. The duties of the First Officer include, but are not limited to:
Requirements/Qualifications (Minimums)
- 1,500 hours total flight time (2,500 hours preferred)
- 750 hours multi-engine fixed wing
- 500 hours pilot in command (PIC)
- 500 hours jet/turboprop
- Current FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate
- ATP Certificate
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit
- Valid US Passport, with machine readable print, and the ability to travel in and out of the United States or valid foreign passport with authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to travel in and out of all the cities/countries served by Frontier Airlines
- Ability to relocate
- Ability and willingness to work weekends, nights, holidays and overnight trips, including "red eyes."
- Ability and desire to maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing and background checks
- Experience with sophisticated aircraft equipment including Electronic Flight Instrument Systems (EFIS) and Flight Management Systems (FMS) preferred
- Compliance with the company's COVID policies which includes a requirement that all new hires are fully vaccinated by their first day of employment, to the degree permitted by law

- Possess excellent communication skills to include ability to speak, read and write English.

- Ability to adjust to flying schedule, including day/night flying.
