Reports To: Chief Pilot

CHI Aviation is seeking candidates for a Second-in-Command (SIC) position on the S-61 helicopter. This is a dynamic role that offers opportunities to work both inside and outside of the USA based on the needs of the company.  Schedules may vary with contracts, typically a 60/60, 45/45, 30/30, 21/21 or 14/14 schedule.  Primary role will be as an SIC on construction aircraft with an opportunity to upgrade and/or move to other contract work based on proficiency not seniority.     

Requirements:

• Commercial Helicopter Rating.
• Instrument – Helicopter Rating
• 500 Hours RW Time
• Current Medical Class II.
• Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds and push 75 pounds.
• Ability to travel on demand with limited notice to remote locations when required.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Ability to pass a physical assessment at a Combat Readiness Center (CRC).
• Knowledge of basic computer skills and MS office.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.

The preferred candidate will have:

• Utility Experience
• 1000 hours RW time.
• NVG Experience.
• Turbine experience.
• Multi engine experience
• Military experience.
• Heavy/Large helicopter experience.
