Reliance Aerotech Services is seeking a Senior Administrator/Quality Assurance Manager for our Canadian MRO customer specializing in Intertial Navigation products.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the business, including day-to-day operations, quality assurance, customer relations, administration, health safety, and people leadership. You will play a key role in helping to drive our continued growth by providing the highest-level service to internal and external customers and contributing to business development while promoting a positive team environment

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations within the organization, liaising with various functions of our repair cycle, equipment maintenance, scheduled inspections, inventory control and other duties as may be necessary day-to-day.
  • Establish a positive team culture through collaboration and respectful ways of working.
  • Help drive business growth through sourcing new customers.
  • Oversee various quality assurance programs, ensuring compliance with our quality system standards and regulatory authorities.
  • Help implement and support standardized service levels and pricing strategies for company.
  • As a member of management team help with strategic repair pricing, purchasing and fiscal performance, including capital expenditures, operational expenses and supporting budget development.
  • Oversee monitoring of staff training programs ensuring required skill levels aligned to regulatory and safety standard requirements.
  • Attend meetings and trade shows as a company representative, cultivating good working relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Support the management of tenant lease agreements including renewals, amendments, and extensions
  • Aid in maintaining company Policy and Procedure manuals ensuring updates are in accordance with Transport Canada (EASA) and CAAC, company HEALTH and safety system and other requirements.

Requirements:

  • A degree or diploma in Aviation or Business Administration/Commerce
  • Minimum of 10 yearsrsquo; experience working in an aerospace environment with at least 5 yearsrsquo; operations and people management experience
  • Extensive knowledge of aviation, aerospace regulatory policies specifically in field of an Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO),
  • Knowledge and some hands-on experience with similar products we repair or knowledge of ATA chapter 34.
  • Solid, proven leadership abilities and experience including hiring, training, coaching and performance management.
  • Strong business acumen with proven negotiation, budgeting/forecasting and business development experience.
  • A customer-focus and continuous improvement bent, always looking for ways to add value.
  • Positivity, flexibility, and an entrepreneurial mind-set
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a customer driven and AOG high pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must be proficient with MS Office and have ability to create spreadsheets that monitor data associated with our Key Processes.

Hours of Work:

  • Core hours: Monday to Friday - 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • 40+ hours per week
