Lead the Team That Keeps Global Manufacturing Moving as a Molding Machine Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Manchester, NH Pay Range: $62,000 – $72,000 + bonuses Schedule: 1st Shift

PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a Molding Machine Maintenance Supervisor for a direct-hire role with a global leader in aerosol valve manufacturing. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional ready to guide a team, drive equipment reliability, and support high-volume molding operations used around the world.

The Impact You’ll Make

In this role, you’ll be responsible for maximizing machine uptime, maintaining safety and quality standards, and developing a skilled maintenance team. Your leadership and technical expertise will directly influence production efficiency, preventative maintenance success, and continuous improvement across molding operations.

What You’ll Do Day to Day

• Supervise, coach, and train maintenance technicians and mechanics

• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of molding machines and auxiliary equipment

• Implement and manage a preventative maintenance program for molding operations

• Monitor equipment for wear, breakdowns, and performance issues; initiate timely repairs

• Enforce safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment

• Maintain accurate documentation for downtime, repairs, and equipment improvements

• Manage tools, spare parts, and replacement inventory to support operations

• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals to diagnose issues and guide repairs

• Partner with operations and engineering teams to improve machine performance and quality

• Ensure repairs and improvements are completed efficiently to reduce downtime

• Perform additional duties as required to support department goals

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong working knowledge of injection molding equipment

• Proven understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

• Ability to read and interpret schematics and equipment documentation

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced production environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical or trade school training

• 1–2 years of supervisory or lead experience

• Experience in plastic injection molding operations

• Preventative maintenance program leadership experience

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally and up to 38 lbs frequently

• Stand for extended periods (7–8 hours per shift)

• Work in a clean, ventilated manufacturing environment with active machinery

• Comfortable with moderate dust levels, mechanical noise, and PPE requirements
