HQ Aero is currently recruiting for SHIPPING/RECEIVING SUPERVISOR in Bridgeport, WV.
The Shipping and Receiving Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations related to incoming and outgoing shipments. This role ensures accurate inventory handling, timely deliveries, compliance with company procedures, and efficient coordination of staff and logistics activities.
Responsibilities: As a Shipping/Receiving Supervisor you will be required to:
Supervise and coordinate daily shipping and receiving operations
Lead, train, and evaluate warehouse personnel to ensure performance standards are met
Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, damage, and proper documentation
Ensure materials are handled, stored, and transported safely and efficiently
Schedule and manage carrier pickups and deliveries (freight, UPS, FedEx, etc.)
Maintain inventory accuracy through proper recordkeeping and system updates
Investigate and resolve discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods
Oversee cycle counts, audits, and inventory control procedures
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Optimize workflow, space utilization, and operational efficiency
Maintain shipping records, bills of lading, and electronic tracking systems
Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal departments (purchasing, production, etc.)
Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelors degree preferred)
3–5+ years of experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations
Prior supervisory or team lead experience
Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, inventory systems, and documentation
Proficiency with computer systems (ERP/WMS software and Microsoft Office)
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to lift and move materials (typically up to 50 lbs)
Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
