Manages the overall planning and scheduling of aerospace vehicle maintenance and utilization requirements to support depot activities. Manages the development of plans and the establishment of production schedules to meet depot induction and delivery requirements. Determines maintenance capabilities to aid in developing depot induction and delivery schedules. Collects data from other planning and scheduling personnel to prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual status reports.
What you will be responsible for:
Manages the coordination and organization efforts to ensure support is available to meet aircraft induction and delivery schedules
Ensures the Maintenance manager, Production Office, and Senior Site Management are advised of maintenance capabilities, limiting production factors, and adherence to depot schedules
Overseas the scheduling of maintenance jobs and helps establish work priorities and monitors how completion times affect current schedule
Operates maintenance information systems (MIS), automated maintenance equipment records, and other automated systems to schedule and monitor maintenance activities and workload to support F-16 depot efforts
Reviews maintenance analysis actions affecting aircraft schedule and material supportability; provides recommendations and guidance to ensure depot schedule is met
Audits historical weapons systems and other program records to establish maintenance trends to improve scheduling effectiveness.
Overseas the accurate documentation of aircraft engines, munitions, TCTO, time change items, and special inspections.
Will work directly for the Program Manager with other duties assigned at managers’ discretion.
Must have strong communications and interpersonal skills. Must read, write and speak English fluently.

What you will need to be successful in this role:
Required:
High School diploma
15 plus years’ experience in aircraft maintenance field
Knowledge and understanding of aircraft planning and scheduling related to depot activities
Knowledge and understanding of maintenance activities applicable to program requirements
Experience with maintenance work card development
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
Desired Skills:
7 plus years’ experience on F-16 or fighter type aircraft
USAF 7 level in aircraft maintenance
Min 10 years documented experience
Knowledge and understanding of aircraft maintenance information system [TRAX, CAMS, IMDS, ALICE, AADMIS, or equivalent]
Previous experience within a diverse culture
Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace field or Business Management
15 plus years’ Aviation Maintenance experience in plans and scheduling
10 plus years’ experience with relevant fleet type.
3 plus years’ experience working government contract service.
Federal Aviation Administration Airframe and Power Plant License.
Through knowledge and understanding of applicable USG Maintenance Program.
