About the Opportunity:

Join our client, a dynamic and technician-led MRO and charter operator, as an Aircraft Maintenance Manager at Gwinnett County Airport in Atlanta, GA. This is a unique opportunity to lead and shape the maintenance operations in a growing company specializing in turboprop and light jet aircraft, with a focus on precision, accountability, and craftsmanship. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the maintenance shop, ensuring efficiency and precision.

  • Manage planning and scheduling of maintenance tasks and track work orders accurately.

  • Administer EBIS 3 and Veryon maintenance tracking systems to maintain FAA compliance.

  • Coordinate with partner organizations (e.g., SWAS and Southwest Aviation Services) to support maintenance operations.

  • Lead quality assurance initiatives using the double-mechanic review standard.

  • Recruit, train, and mentor junior mechanics to support team development.

  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting and assist with shop maintenance work when needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience managing aircraft maintenance operations in an MRO or similar environment.

  • Proficiency with EBIS 3 and/or Veryon maintenance tracking systems (preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of FAA maintenance documentation and regulatory compliance.

  • Strong organizational and operational management skills.

  • Ability to coordinate effectively with technicians, vendors, and partner organizations.

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate (preferred).

  • 7–10+ years of aircraft maintenance experience, including leadership roles.

  • Familiarity with turboprop aircraft such as King Air, Cessna Citation, and PT6-powered aircraft.
