Summary: Seeking a Director of Manufacturing to lead aerospace manufacturing operations, drive continuous improvement, and manage production teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in engineering or related technical field; MBA preferred.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing, including managing staff.

• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies like LEAN and Six Sigma.

• Familiarity with assembly, welding, brazing, machining processes.

• Experience in build-to-order manufacturing management in medium volume/high-mix environments, preferably aerospace or military industries.

• Proficiency in MRP systems, preferably Oracle.

• Fluency in Spanish preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

• Ability to prioritize workload and manage short-term and long-term activities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities:

• Support business goals related to product cost, quality, schedule adherence, and delivery.

• Develop standard processes for manufacturing heat exchangers using standard work formats.

• Design tooling and fixtures for production processes.

• Drive continuous improvements using process improvement methodologies like LEAN and Six Sigma.

• Monitor performance standards for product quality; recommend process improvements.

• Oversee Operational Excellence plans and coordinate projects at a tactical level.

• Provide technical support regarding process improvements and non-conforming parts.

Pay: 180k-200k

Pay Details: $180,000.00 to $200,000.00 per year
