Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, is accepting applications for one instructor position at the rank of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer, starting in fall 2025. This appointment is in the School of Aviation and Transportation Technology, part of the Purdue Polytechnic Institute. 

Essential job duties include the following:

• Develop and teach advanced turbine transition undergraduate courses in professional flight technology
• Instruct in the Hawker 900 XP
• Serve on curriculum committees
• Perform customary faculty assignments and student mentoring. 

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Applicants must hold the appropriate FAA or equivalent national aviation authority certificates and ratings necessary to perform their assigned duties in the Professional Flight Program.
• FAA ATP, HS125 type rating, and Certified Flight Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
