As an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) you will join the Classified Cyber Security Team supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs to ensure classified information systems meet cyber security requirements and government directives.
•Interpret the Joint Special Access Program
Implementation Guide (JSIG) in determining
technical Information Assurance (IA)
requirements and ensure proper security
implementation of the Risk Management
•Develop system documentation for information
system authorization, security management,
and continuous monitoring of both networked
and standalone classified systems.
•Perform system auditing, vulnerability risk
assessments, Assured File Transfers,
hardware/software configuration management,
data integrity containments and investigations
on IA related security violations/incidents.
•Provide cybersecurity education and training for
all system users on appropriate risk mitigation
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
A level 4 employee Typically has 9 - 15 years of professional experience.

This position is in Palmdale, CA Discover Palmdale.
Requirements: Basic Qualifications:
Possess DoD 8570 IAM Level 3 certification (i.e. CISM, CISSP, CASP)
Experience in at least one of the following: system administration, information assurance, and/or cyber security
Experience executing system auditing, vulnerability risk assessments, hardware/software configuration management, and investigations on IA related security violations/incidents
Experience as an Information System Security Manager/Officer (ISSM/O)Desired Skills:
The right candidate will be a creative team player, be highly organized with strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong understanding and previous implementation of STIG Viewer, SCAP, Retina, SPLUNK, Nessus Security Center, and ACAS.
Experience as an enterprise ISSM providing technical security expertise and oversight for complex classified networked environments in collaboration with customers, Information Technology (IT) Department and other functional support departments.
