Description:
 M1 Support Services (M1) is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Senior Logistics Manager to support 
our Fort Rucker AMS Contract. This position reports to a M1 Fort Rucker Program Manager, Logistics.   
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: 
 Manages/implements the logistics programs and procedures, movement and storage of materials across the FT Rucker 
Aviation Maintenance Services Program IAW the PWS, Army, USAF, FAA, and company guidance.  
 Lead and oversee the entire supply chain operations, including procurement, warehousing, and distribution with AMSS. 
 Ensures proper inventory control planning and scheduling to meet contractual commitments. 
 Oversees the requisitioning effort, provides oversight for tracking materials and supplies, and periodically examines 
materials delivered to the different airfields and work centers to verify conformance to specifications. 
 Oversees the coordination of the clerical and manual tasks involved in the receipt, verification, storage, turn-in and 
issuance of parts, materials, supplies and equipment.  
 Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve logistics performance.  
 Assist in the planning and projection of total material requirements program-wide.   
 Demonstrates continuous effort to improve logistics operations and protect resources. 
 Must a deep understanding of direct support and back shop logistics operations:
 Ensure timely procurement and 
delivery of necessary parts and supplies to support maintenance and operational requirements; maintain accurate 
inventory records and manage stock levels to support comprehensive repairs and overhauls of aircraft components.   
 Develops and sustains a culture of safety, quality compliance, and professionalism.   
 Ensures compliance with directives, technical manuals, work standards, safety procedures, and company policies relating 
to logistics operations. 
 Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity. 
 Ensures sufficient material, labor, technical data, tools and equipment are available to meet PWS requirements. 
 Monitors attendance, approves timecards, assigns overtime.   
 Supervise and mentor logistics team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. 
 Applies Company policy and procedures pertaining to the promotion, training, discipline, and termination of employees. 
 Ensures employees possess the training and equipment necessary to comply with regulatory requirements.  
 Interface directly with the customer to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner while maintaining a high level of 
customer satisfaction. 
 Negotiate and manage relationships with government and airfield customers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery 
of product and services.   
 Working with management team to develop/review operational procedures and quality plans to ensure the operation 
complies with local government requirements 
 Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to regulatory standards, internal policies, and industry best practices. Identify 
any discrepancies, implement corrective actions, and verify the effectiveness of those actions to maintain high operational 
standards. 
 Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and supply metrics to track logistics efficiency and 
effectiveness. Utilize data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement, optimize inventory levels, and ensure timely 
and accurate fulfillment of supply chain requirements. 
 Responsible for distribution operation processes which include but are not limited to receiving, storage, kitting, 
subassembly, order filling, packing, shipping, quality control, inspection, inventory counts, indirect supply scheduling, 
returns, and related functions to provide shipping and receiving accuracy, inventory reconciliation and making decisions 
on defective material. 
 Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work effectively under pressure. 
 Ensure cost saving and maximized budget through monitoring of budget 
 Analyze the demand for supplies and forecast future needs

In addition, the candidate should possess the following requirements: 
 Ten years of Army logistics and supply chain management experience. 
 Must have deep knowledge of Army Demand analysis:
 Ensuring optimal inventory levels by recommending additions to 
or deletions from the Authorized Stockage List (ASL) based on demand analysis. 
 Must be highly knowledgeable in logistical systems/plans, regulatory standards, Army supply and delivery procedures. 
 Able to obtain/maintain security clearance as required by PWS. 
 Must be subject matter expert in every faucet of GCSS-Army (Global Combat Support System-Army) 
 Collaborate with key stakeholders, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to process, track, and invoice material 
requirements 
 Must have a deep understanding of logistics software (GCSS-Army) and related systems/platforms. 
 Must have the ability for operate internal GCSS-Army (Global Combat Support System-Army) help desk and provide 
aide to all logistics personnel elements of issues within GCSS-Army. 
 Must have a comprehensive understanding of aircraft maintenance, safety, and quality control procedures in a military 
aviation environment. 
 Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including 
Excel. 
 Must possess strong skills in speaking, reading, writing, and comprehending English. 
 Must be able to moves about both inside aircraft hangars and outside on aircraft ramps within close proximity of 
running equipment and aircraft.   
 Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines while maintaining a professional 
and non-confrontational attitude. 
 
Education and/or Certification 
 Bachelor Degree in related field required.  Masters desired. 
 Must have PMP certification or experience in Lean Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
