Position/Title: Sr. Manager Security, Infrastructure and Applications
Reports to: Sr. Director Information Services
Location: Wayne, PA (#8220;HDQ#8221;)

This summary provides a listing of the knowledge, skills and abilities that are critical components of the position for Sr. Manager Security, Infrastructure, and Applications.


This is an FLSA exempt, not eligible for overtime, staff position that will report directly to the Sr. Director of Information Services. The successful candidate will possess strong technical knowledge in the areas of Security, Infrastructure support, and applications, be customer centric/focused, be a good communicator, and must be able to exhibit the values and culture of the company while working with other team members and customers in a fast paced/dynamic environment.

C.Duties and Responsibilities

Security Proactively manage the organizational security posture to ensure the appropriate security measures are in place to protect business operations and corporate assets as follows:

#167;Review the security environment on a regular basis to stay ahead of security risks and trends;
#167;Develop and implement a security program for the organization including security governance, risk, a data and information plan and an incident response plan;
#167;Responsible for security measures to meet DOD TRANSCOM - CRAF Program requirements (NIST 800-171) including timely completion of the annual Self Assessment/Audit;
#167;Implement an organization-wide employee Cyber Security Awareness Program;
#167;Coordinate plans for Cyber Security with EAL facilities (e.g. FSO - Facilities Safety Officer) and fraud personnel;
#167;Develop and maintain a company Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Plan (BCP/DRP) to cover scenarios outside the Emergency Response Manual with coordination of activities with the Safety department;
#167;Develop and oversee Cyber security related policies;
Infrastructure Responsible to manage the Information Services infrastructure of the Company, either directly or through contracted support, including, but not limited to: Office infrastructure including primary and back-up connectivity with Internet Service providers (ISP), switches, firewalls, business network and wireless;
Connectivity and integration with cloud-based business application service providers;
Communication infrastructure for mobile including MDM (Mobile Device Management), ARINC, SITA, SATCOM and Datalink;
Phone system (hard line and cloud-based/VOIP);Business environment AV (audio-visual) equipment purchasing and ongoing support;Data storage and regular back-ups of critical information and data;Social Media connectivity and information feeds;Websites (public facing and intranet) hosting;MS Azure central AD (Active Directory) MS Office 365 and MS SharePoint;Technical publications and Navigation Charts electronic distribution channels;
Work in partnership with business units and People Services to enhance the Onboarding and Off-Boarding processes including workflow, alerts and implementing SSO (Single Sign-on) wherever possible;
Develops the infrastructure architecture (topography diagrams) and manages environment for effectiveness and efficiency;Work with People Services to develop Information Services policies (e.g. Acceptable Use Policy, Mobile communications, etc.);
Manage delivery of services against defined SLA (Service Level Agreements) with vendors;
Assist Finance and Accounting, and work with business units where IS capital hardware and software requests are made;Ensures IS services within all company facilities are reliable, compliant with standards and have appropriate maintenance and service contracts in place;Manages the assigned IS team with a focus on customer service, operational excellence, continuous learning and innovation;
Stays current on the latest trends in hardware, software and related IS policies, regulations and best practices;
Applications Responsible to provide technical application support across all business applications, including, but not limited to:
#167;Manage desktop applications and drive for extracting maximum business value through informal training and awareness;
#167;Work with the Commercial team to support Website and Social media including domain name registrations and other related requirements;
#167;Technical vendor management (e.g. via service portals) for delivery of services, application integration (API), break-fix and system enhancements
#167;Develop an applications architecture and determine organizational business application standards;
#167;Manage delivery of services against defined SLA (Service Level Agreements) with vendors;
#167;Assist business units with vendor evaluations including advice/direction for integration with existing application environment and technical advice for business case development;
#167;Stays current on the latest trends in business and aviation-related software solutions and best practices;



- Post-secondary education in business, technology or related discipline;
- 5-10 years of business experience; 3-5 years experience in a security, infrastructure or applications team leadership role;
- Previous experience managing technical systems within the Commercial Airline or Aviation industry is preferred;
- Experience working in business environments with a cloud-first strategy;
- Technical designations such as Microsoft (MCSE - Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) and/or Apple (ACSP - Apple Certified Support Professional) is preferred;
- Security Professional certifications such as the ISACA CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security
Professional) is preferred;
- Strong critical-thinking,problem-solving and relationship building skills;
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to work under pressure in a team environment;
- Embraces opportunities for continuous learning and innovation;
- Participation/membership in IS/IT industry-related professional associations and established IT Professional support networks;
- Knowledge of capabilities and application of advanced/innovative technologies;
- Some travel may be required;
- Pass drug and alcohol background checks, pre-employment DOT drug test, and - criminal history records check (CHRC);
- Must possess a valid driver's license and passport;
- Eligible to work in the United States.
