The Logistics Team Manager will be responsible for supervising logistics operations and workers within a defined scope of the logistics operations on site. Manages and trains employees, prepares reports, ensures the quality and service level of the activity.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 

• Lead, supervise and train the team to ensure goals are met.  

• Handle employee relations 

• Attend and preside over meetings as necessary 

• Manage and direct overall operations 

• Set goals for the team and provide direction and support to achieve goals 

• Clearly set and communicate goals to team 

• Delegate responsibility 

• Generate and present reports on departmental goals 

• Motivate and encourage employees 

• Promote employee enhancement 

• Ensure high customer satisfaction 

• Perform daily management routines 

• Promote companys mission and values 

• Collaborate with Operations Managers to plan and schedule activities 

• Ensure that goals and objectives are met or exceeded on a consistent basis 

• Identify any areas for process improvements 

• Suggest and implement changes to streamline activities, increase productivity and reduce waste. 

• Enforce safety regulations and best practices to maintain a safe working environment. 

• Investigate and report any safety incidents and implement corrective actions. 

• Generate reports for management and participate in performance reviews. 

• Address and resolve issues, including bottlenecks and deviations from the production plan. 

• Other duties as directed 

Requirements: 

• High School Diploma / GED or higher 

• 3-5 years in a leadership role 

• Excellent customer service orientation skills. 

• Strong leadership and communication skills (oral and written communication) 

• Good computer skills- proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and G-suite 

• Motivated self-starter, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, make decisions under pressure and solve problems effectively. 

• Accuracy and attention to details in daily activities. 

• Highly organized, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities. 

• Effective prioritizing and time management skills. 

Preferred Experience: 

• Bachelors degree in engineering or related field 

• Previous SAP experience 

• Experience Logistic Operations 

• Aviation experience is a plus 

• Forklift and/or scissor lift experience is helpful. 

Physical Demands: 

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis. 

• Walking, standing, climbing stairs and/or ladders and sitting on regular basis.
