Carson Air has been awarded a NEW cargo contract and our pay structure for SW4 flight crew has been updated.  We are a stable company known for excellence in service, safety, aircraft maintenance, flight operations, who have provided uninterrupted essential services for more than 30 years.

Our dedicated group of skilled aviation professionals is seeking an IFR experienced, motivated, energetic, safety focused and challenge-driven pilot who is eager to succeed in a dynamic and growing aviation company.  The SW4 Senior Captains have the overall responsibility for the safe, efficient, and timely operations of the aircraft and the First Officer according to all prescribed regulations, customer requirements and company expectations.

Pilots flying for Carson Air know their schedule in advance, with a great Monday to Friday rotation. The YYC crew is able to have a work-life balance seldom encountered in the aviation industry, typically flying 2-3 times per week and scheduled to return to home base at the end of every day. We are committed to offering our employees competitive compensation in addition to ongoing training, and internal opportunities for advancement.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE or SKILLS

  • Airline transport pilot license (ATPL) with Multi IFR rating,
  • 1500 hours of total flight time
  • 700 hours of multi engine flight time
  • Minimum of 500 hours of multi-turbine PIC
  • No Transport Canada violations or suspensions
  • Preferred - Metroliner experience.
  • Preferred - Aviation diploma
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated computer skills and familiarity with internet.
  • Good oral and written communication skills

Successful applicants will be required to sign a Training Bond Agreement unless they already have a current type rating for the SW4 aircraft.
