Summary of Position (Brief description of overall responsibilities and function)

In partnership with lead technicians, supervisors and support groups lead 30+ technicians in their assignment and prioritization of tasks and responsibilities. This will include the application of effective oversight and management of labor hours, services, materials, shortages, work order management, experimental activities, and training support. Assist with the management of work orders, monitor expenses and budget adherence. Work in partnership with Contracts/Program managers to develop the statement so work, material requirements and schedule. Implementation and administration of Lean Principles, managing of in-week, weekend, holiday overtime requirements and PTO as they relate to business requirements.

Candidate will be required to connect with all levels of the organization, multi-national customers, Italian cohorts in order to ensure constant communication and efficient workflow. Candidate must be highly organized, able to effectively multi-task/follow-up, poses effective interpersonal and computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.). Candidate must possess a proactive approach to reviewing and creating new solutions and processes for product and procedure enhancements. Qualified candidate must have a strong understanding of postproduction procedures, repair station and FAA requirements. Candidate will be familiar with AWPC processes, procedures and business code of ethics. Candidate will be a respectful and competent leader providing guidance that will enhance customer and employee satisfaction, company performance, and the sustainment of long-term company profitability.

Manage operational interface and communications with support functions, program management/customer. Ensure safety, quality standards, and on time delivery of aircraft.

Management of aircraft work orders utilizing completions lead technicians, supervisors,

quality Control/repair station staff to ensure thorough conformance to FAA and

maintenance manual guidelines, labor control, and processing of work orders in

timely fashion.

3.

Lead support functions and technicians, allocate labor in conformance with

scheduled requirements adjusting as necessary to meet the changing demands.

4.

Assist with FAA, 9100 and internal audits.

5.

Manage the completions organization facility 6S requirements, including routine

daily shop housekeeping audits.

Manage budgets and cost controls set for department.

7.

Consult with Industrial Engineering and assist HR with headcount to include

Interviewing, and hiring.

8.

Manage the OJT program as required by Repair Station Training Manual.

9.

Ensure safety measures are being followed by all individuals on site and that practices

are consistent and meet Company, FOD, EH S, OSHA and EPA requirements.

Assist Person Responsible for Training (PRT) with training schedules and ensuring that

RSM/QCM processes and procedures are followed.

Qualifications for Position:

Education

Associatersquo;s/Bachelorrsquo;s degree, or equivalent years of experience

Experience

5-7 years in FAA Part 145 environment, 5 years in Supervisory role required

Adaptable, works well under pressure, able to multi-task, detail oriented, working knowledge

of MS Office products

Licensure/Certification

A P Certificate or appropriate Repairmanrsquo;s Certification
