Corporate Pilot ndash; Phenom 100

Location: Pilot Aircraft could reside in Hilton Head Island, SC, Savannah GA or South Central Michigan

Job Description:

Manage and operating the assigned aircraft in a safe, effective and efficient manner assuring for optimum utilization of the aircraft for corporate travel with a focus on passengers including but not limited to employees, vendors, customers, prospective customers and owner. This is accomplished through coordination with various Company team members, with a focus on the appropriate planning, organizing, directing, operating, maintaining and administering of the aircraft operations which includes the aircraft, third party personnel, and ground support equipment as necessary. The corporate pilot would fly domestic flights (occasionally Canada), primarily east of the Mississippi River with occasional trips to the west coast. The plane will be based in KSAV and KJXN. Expected flight hours could range between 300-700 hours per year.

Frequent flights to/from airports include - JXN, HXD, SAV, ORL, GSO, UES, TVC, CGF, FTY, ECP.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage all flight activities to insure each trip is flown safely and effectively.
  • Assist in the forward planning of corporate flight operations. Arrange for travel accommodations (ground transportation) as necessary. Monitor weather conditions, communicate with corporate team members, airport personnel, and passengers as necessary.
  • Assist in the tactical management of operations as required or assigned, including organizing aircraft maintenance with third party providers, updating of aircraft databases as required, preparation of the annual operating budget, oversee the annual insurance renewal process and paperwork, and completion of necessary files, records and logs.
  • Maintain a pleasant operational environment stressing positive interaction with passengers and corporate team members.
  • Evaluate all risk factors and contingencies (i.e. weather, airport conditions) and adjust trip as necessary to maintain the highest degree of safety possible.
  • Select and implement the most efficient and comfortable routes and altitudes within the structure of route airspaces, comply with all government laws and regulations, and Company-specific policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Keep up to date with new procedures, policies, requirements, FAA regulations and aircraft operating specifications.
  • Seek out new learning and development opportunities to enhance job performance and skills and take actions to improve one's own knowledge and skills.


Compensation subject to experience level and location. Benefits to include; Health Care, 401K, paid vacation, paid holidays, monthly per diem for sundry and meal expenses. Additionally, the company will pay for annual recurring (and/or initial) training with CAE in Dallas, Texas.


Required Qualifications

  • College Degree preferred, Flight Instructors Rating, Commercial Aircraft Rating, Instrument Rating, and Multi-Engine Rating.
  • Minimum 3,000 hours of total Flight Time.
  • Minimum 1,000 hours of jet Flight Time.
  • Must have at least 500 hours of flight time in one or more of the following; Phenom 100/300, Cessna CJ1, CJ2, CJ3 and/or CJ4.
  • Experience with Garmin technology and glass cockpit desired.
  • Completion of Initial (if applicable) and annual recurring training at CAE, www.trainwithCAE.com
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Able to maintain current knowledge of all FAA and other regulatory requirements, advisories, publications and policies as required.
  • Overnight trips will be frequent in addition to occasional day trips.
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Exposure to outdoor weather including rain, wind, thunder, lightning, snow, heat, humidity, fog, etc. May tend to and/or fly aircraft in adverse conditions. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
