The theme for the airport restaurant, Miss Bea Havin, was the name and nose art on one of the B-17s flown by L. G. Gus Hayes in WWII. He returned to the Akron area after the war and began serving the aviation community. His son Randy joined him in 1976, and now grandson Ryan is working the in the business. Their chef, Gordon Johnson, is also a local with 30 years of experience. We hope you will join us at the airport in Akron, Colorado AKO as they continue to promote aviation and serve great pizza. - Submitted by Steven Gosnell |
