Bend Municipal Airport is a busy training airfield. There are over 200 students from the local community college working on their fixed wing and rotary wing ratings and so be ready to enter the traffic pattern on a 45 degree entry to merge in with the students doing touch and goes. Fixed wing traffic patterns on the West side of the field and Rotary wing aircraft traffic patterns on the East side of the field. ....... Specialized Aero Works is a great place to get your tailwheel indorsement and other really cool flight training in a Super Decathlon by very experienced professional pilots.
