1/5/2016 - Moody gardens does have a good restaurant. It is a walkable distance and good exercise. There is also The Jungle restaurant about the same distance south of Schlitterbahn. Open for breakfast lunch and dinner. - Submitted by 46R
12/20/2009 - The restaurant at the Moody Gardens Hotel had excellent food. The FBO kindly drove us there in a golf cart. Be careful, though: I asked them to fill the Arrow only to the L tabs because of weight and balance requirements; he indicated that he understood, took my credit card and proceeded to fill the tanks while we were at the restaurant. In retrospect, I should have stayed to ensure that they only filled to the tabs. He was not even apologetic for what they did! We had to do some rearranging of weight in the airplane to be able to fly safely. I was very disappointed with my first brush with a dishonest FBO. Be careful! - Submitted by Liza
