Vansant Airport

Van Sant is a classic, grass field airstrip in Erwinna, PA. Bar and Dannie Eisenhauer operate the FBO and offer rides in a 1928 Travel Air biplane, a 1942 Stearman, a 1946 Piper Cub and more.

Located on the field are some of the finest examples of vintage planes anywhere. Check out the website for more info. During the summer they hold a dinner movie night on the last Saturday of the month. During the afternoon they give airshow priced plane rides. During dinner there is usually live music with the movie starting at dusk projected on to a hangar door. People fly in, drive in, bike in and walk in for this event.

1/9/2013 - Bar and Dannie operate Van Sant Airport full time from this coming March 2013. They have a vintage Travel Air that seats 2 passengers for thrilling rides over the Bucks County countryside plus a Piper Cub and Aeronca Champ for lessons and rides, and glider rides. Their monthly dinner and a movie night became a popular summer staple. - Submitted by SB

5/28/2012 - New operator taking over- gliders and tow planes up for sale no antique aircraft rentals. Changes in the air for this month Jun 2011, and not for the better. Still will be a lot of great local based planes to see. - Submitted by Chris
