Stroll on the white sand beach, fish off the community pier, visit the art center, bike along the live oak shrouded paths, golf on one of the seven golf courses, climb the ancient lighthouse, stay the weekend at a local resort or guest house, or just hang out for the day. 1/30/2018 - Flew into this airport on 1/27/2018. The FBO was awesome! Very friendly, brand spanking new, and no charge for parking there a couple hours. They provided directions to the BBQ restaurant that was a 5 minute walk away and was some of the best BBQ I've ever had. Highly recommend as a great place to fly to and visit! - Submitted by Nick Landman
5/1/2014 - There is also one of the best BBQ restaurants around within walking distance of the field. Southern Soul BBQ has amazing food and is on the round-about less than 15 minutes walk from the airport. Hang a left out of the FBO and walk to the round-about. It will be on the right. The FBO will lend a crew car, but the walk is not bad at all. - Submitted by Paul
