Located in SW Iowa and just 1/2 mile west of beautiful Red Oak, IA. Come and enjoy our historical homes, visit our new Performing Arts Center; a beautiful new History Center that showcases very interesting historical displays about SW Iowa. Red Oak is the County Seat and has a unique and beautiful courthouse worth stopping to see and photograph; a large variety of places to dine and shop, both on the townsquare and at the plaza; a new hotel, plus several other hotels/bed breakfasts for a comfortable nights stay. Our airport offers a very comfortable pilot's lounge, flight planning/weather room, free overnight ramp tie-down areas or inside hangar space available for a small fee, and a courtesy car for pilots to use during your visit. 11/4/2009 - Great GA airport with SS fuel pump, nice courtesy car and friendly FBO. Should also mention Burlington Northern Railroad Depot WWII Memorial Museum among points of interests in Red Oak. Sons of Red Oak made huge contribution to WWII effort, particularly in North Africa. Excellent restaurant at old firestation. Worth the stop. - Submitted by Sam Taylor
