London-Corbin Airport
Airport is in town with hotels and other restaurants nearby. Some of the country's best lakes are located within a few miles including Laurel and Cumberland. Cumberland Falls is a few miles south, the world's only moonbow you will see outside of Africa. KFC started here, but you'll be happier at the Hangar Restaurant judging landings. 5/25/2018 - I loved this restaurant. They just got done remodeling earlier in 2018 but it looks like they are closed now. I spoke with FBO and they are looking for a new owner/manager. - Submitted by Ken
2/3/2018 - Newly rennovated restaurant now open, so I finally was able to check it out. Food was really good sandwiches and slaw were levels above other places. Classy too - nice table cloths and furnishings. Patio will be nice when weather warms up. Friendly folks at the FBO. Definately a good place to stop. - Submitted by Andy

5/31/2014 - Flew in here this past sunday. The lineman from the FBO informed us that the restaurant was closed on Sundays now but was looking at reopening on Sundays starting real soon. Call before you go. It seems the hours can change on a moments notice. Also, Cumberland falls is a very short flight from here , well worth a flyby! Beautiful scenery! - Submitted by Brian
5/24/2013 - Dropped in one fine Saturday afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed the sweet tea, barbecue sandwich and of course the airport ambience... We complimented the server on the food, and she replied, Good to hear. He's been working on that barbecue recipe for a while and I think he finally got it right... - Submitted by Eddie

6/7/2009 - Lunched yesterday at The Hangar. Mary was there to greet us in her pilot's uniform. She said she would be our flight attendant. The special for the day was the $100 hamburgernormally $8.99 but $6.99 yesterdayincluded slaw fries. The burger was a hand made 1/2# burgerexcellent. Mary waited on us hand foot. Highly recommendtaxi right up to the restaurant eat inside or on the patio. Fuel was $3.50 self serve. - Submitted by Doug
