12/26/2012 - Beautiful country to fly over. Good airstrip and tie down wire available. Bring your own ropes, etc. as it does get windy. Not far from the town/shop area, but no transportation available. You could walk it if you needed to. - Submitted by Michael

4/22/2002 - I have visited and stayed in one of Karl's cabins. The runway is excellent, the cabins are great, and Karl is a wonderful host. Karl even has private access to a portion of the Frio River. This is a great getaway location for a few days.
