Sweetwater Cafe - Agua Dulce, CA

Small Country Cafe about a 15 minute walk from Runway 4. Just walk south on the taxi way past silver metal hangars to the gate that leads to Darling Rd., turn right and walk a short distance to Agua Dulce Cyn Rd. Then make a left turn on Agua Dulce Cyn Rd to down town Agua Dulce very small area with a grocery, liquor, and hardware store within close proximity. Cafe will be on your left. Castle Air Museum is located at 5050 Santa Fe Drive, Atwater, California, 95301, in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley, adjacent to Castle Airport. Drive time is approximately one hour from Fresno, two hours from Sacramento, and three hours from San Francisco. Open year-round (weather permitting) except New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Auburn Airport-Wings Restaurant - Auburn, CA

Wings restaurant on the airfield is a great place to go for breakfast or lunch! Outside dinning on a covered patio is a perfect place to watch the planes come and go. The food is really good! Great 'Fly In' Getaway. Fly to AVX, Catalina 'Airport in the Sky'. Owned by pilots. Discounts to pilots. The airport is located in the center of the Island, at 1602 feet elevation.Its single 3250 foot runway is able to accommodate most small planes. Rocket Shop Cafe - Bakersfield, CA

Not your ordinary airport cafe, the Rocket Shop is a spacious full service restaurant bar open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch, dinner, cold beer, cocktails, banquets as well as a NASCAR store. Located at the extreme northeast corner of the airport, the Rocket Shop Cafe offers window seating with a view of the runway and ramp. Many tie-downs are just outside of the restaurant. Owned by Harmon Rocket creator, John Harmon, the Rocket Shop Cafe opened in December of 2007 and doesn't just cater to the pilot, but to a part of Bakersfield that has been forgotten for years since Freeway 99 moved the center of town away from Union Ave. The E.A.A. Chapter 71 hangar is just a few steps from the entrance of the Rocket Shop Cafe and hosts an annual fly-in BBQ on the first Saturday of June every year. - Submitted by Michael Harmon

Big Bear City Airport is located in Southern California, approximately 40 miles outside of the Los Angeles metropolitan area, on the southern boundary of the San Bernardino Mountain Range. Boonville Airport - Boonville, CA

Boonville is a small town, but does have a number of restaurants, an ice cream shop, some antique/curio shops, and an old hotel. The entire town is an easy walk from the field. It's a great place for a $100 hamburger. You will find Boonville an extremely friendly town. Its a very trendyntown with lots of wine country visitors. Annie Ruths Restaurant - Brownsville, CA

Brownsville is the airport in the Lost Sierra. We are at 2100 ft, usually above the fog and below the snow. Annie Ruths restaurant is a local favorite and is about 500 ft from the tie down on the East end of the field. Usually open everyday but Monday.Good food at a fair price. Waypoint Cafe - Camarillo, CA

Best airport cafe EVER! This is an amazing place to drive or fly in to. Located at the Camarillo airport with indoor and outdoor seating options. Fantastic food and views. Plus, they have a replica airport tower and runway for the kids to play. Great to watch planes coming and going while enjoying great food. This is a must stop. - Submitted by Chase
