Gelston House - East Haddam, CT

The Gelston House is a turn of the century Hotel/Restaurant in the sleepy town of East Haddam, CT, along the banks of the Connecticut River. It is a two minute stroll from Goodspeed airport. Park your aircraft and $5 into the mail slot honor system. The Gelston House offers a great dining experience, both indoors and outside, with beautiful views of the river. It's open Wednesday through Sunday, 11:30 am till 9:00 pm. When approaching runway 32, be mindful of the power lines crossing the river. Blue Skies Fun Dining! - Submitted by Rob Willard

Historic Essex - Essex, CT

Fly in to KSNC and take a cab to Essex. A beatiful small town w/ shops and boutiques full of everything. Enjoy lunch at Olive Oyl's as you sit overlooking the CT. River. - Submitted by Dive007

AeroDiner - North Windham, CT

Park at Windham Aviation, sign in and ask for directions to the AeroDiner. The nice folks there will tell you to walk out and over the hill to Boston Post Road and then up the street to the restaurant not more than 1/2 mile. Great old fashion diner. - Submitted by zavracky

121 Restaurant - Oxford, CT

Great restaurant right on the runway with great menu at reasonable prices. Service is always good, pull your plane right up to restaurant. More parking available at Key Air accross the runway. Watch the wires on RWY 36 approach. - Submitted by Tom

Delaware Airpark - Dover/Cheswold, DE

The Delaware Airpark is home to 45 based aircraft and Delaware State University's flight training program, it serves both corporate and recreational flyers year-round. The airport is especially busy during the summer months when Delaware State conducts NASA and Air Force ROTC pilot training. - Submitted by Mike Watson

Sussex County Airport - Georgetown, DE

Right Fork Diner - Edgartown, MA

Right Fork Diner is open seasonably only. Open each year from Memorial Day weekend through Columbus Day 7 a.m – 2 p.m. breakfast is served daily ’til 2 and lunch starts at 11 In July and August they are open until sunset. Dine feet away from the runway. Longest grass runway in the United States. Bi-plane and motor glider rides. Aircraft Parking area steps away from famous South Beach. Bus service connects the rest of Martha's Vineyard. This place should be on every pilots bucket list. - Submitted by Don
