Bloomington Indiana's only Full Service FBO offers smiling faces, and great service.
A great place to learn to fly, continue a flying career, or take a break when going cross country. The Bloomington Area provides a diverse locale for daytrips.

Indianapolis Executive Airport (TYQ), Indianapolis Executive Airport, formerly Terry Apt, is growing faster than any other reliever airport in the midwest. A new terminal/corporate hangar is being doubled in size with a new canopy, the only one of its kind in Indiana. Nearby Zionsville is a charming village with wonderful shops and restaurants. Also nearby is Conner Prairie History Museum a complete town set in 1836. It is all just fantastic. The fixed base operator, Montgomery Aviation, always makes visitors feel welcome where in a BBJ or a 172. http://www.connerprairie.org/ - Submitted by rarice |

Eagle Creek Airpark (KEYE), Fly under Indianapolis IND airspace to Eagle Creek Airport KEYE on the NW side of Indianapolis. Walk across the street to one of the best restaurants within walking distance of any airport in Indiana. Ricks Boat Yard Restaurant is ON THE WATER with wonderful views and a great menu. Often enjoy live music, Seafood fresh lobster, indoor or patio tables, even free boatrides on the lake on some evenings, courtesy of Rick's Boatyard restaurant. 5.00 Landing fee at airport, but worth it. Sometimes you will be greeted with water on the ramp and a golf cart ride to EYE terminal. Runway is 3/21 orientation and has taxiway. This will be a favorite! - Submitted by Russ Kaspar |

Flora Indiana is located between Lafayette and Kokomo. If you are in the mood for turf practice, Flora may work out for you. Great for a taildragger! 2100x90 feet strip..so not very long. Be sure your plane can handle it. The 9-27 orientation has a unique 800'x1200' ultralight mowed area adjacent to the north of the runway. Just 3 miles or so to the Southeast on the Wildcat Creek, you can fly over the famous Red 4 story Adams Mill where grain was milled by water power and now a museum. The white Cutler covered bridge just a few hundred feet to the Northwest of the Red Mill. Look for the horseshoe bend on the creek to locate the mill from the air. The airport is friendly and does have some activity. Restrooms are open and the payphone works.

Every Friday, Goshen Air hosts a FREE lunch burgers/dogs with all the trimmings at noon for pilots. There's a bucket for donations, and bottled soda is extra. Great place to stop in rub elbows with area pilots. If the weather's nice, expect a full pattern. Always a great time.
