Friday Harbor in the San Juan Islands of the Puget Sound is an excellent place for a meal or a visit. Friday Harbor is a short 5 minute walk from the airport. There are plenty of great places to eat, ample places to stay including small Inns and B&B's. You can take one of the many Orca watching boats or head out in a sea kayak. Come for the afternoon, or stay for a week, you'll have a great time.
