3-Zero Cafe - Half Moon Bay, CA

The 3-Zero Cafe was voted 'Best Breakfast on the Coast' by Half Moon Bay Review readers for 10 consecutive years. And the coast is a pretty big place. We're serving delicious breakfast and lunch here at the Half Moon Bay Airport, located on the beautiful San Mateo County coastline. We're right off Highway One just north of the Pillar Point Harbor. Aerospace Museum of California - McClellan, CA

The Aerospace Museum of California is located on the former McClellan AFB which now operates as McClellan Buisness Park and McClellan Airport. McClellan Jet Services operates a full-service FBO and will provide transportation to the Museum on request. It is less than a 1 mile walk to the Museum. There are also overnight accomodations at the Lions Gate Hotel at the fully restored former McClellan Officers Club. The Museum boasts a collection of aircraft starting with a Curtiss-Wright B-14-B “Speedwing” bi-plane built in 1932. It is one-of-a-kind and has been beautifully restored. There are over 40 aircraft and a full collection of aircraft engines from the World War I Gnome Rotary to an Allison V3420 and the SR-71 J-58. Many aircraft are open, while others hang from the ceiling of the 30,000 SF pavilion. Aircraft include all “Century” series USAF aircraft, a MIG–17PF and MIG–21F, FB-11A and an F-14D, plus a Pitts S-1 acrobatic racer and an AQM – 187 drone. Norden Bomb Sight - On display is one of the original Norden bomb sights, which were used by American bombardiers for precision day bombing during World War II. These bomb sights were really small computers that were maintained and repaired in the shops at the Sacramento Air Depot later Sacramento Air Logistics Center at McClellan AFB. Come visit The Viper Zone, our flight simulation center and feel the rush behind the controls of two F-16 CPTs and Dreamflyer motion simulator, as well as the Morphis motion-ride simulator. The Museum is open Tuesday - Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Sunday, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM. There is a fully stocked Gift Shop.

Air Combat USA - Fullerton, CA

Airport Cafe at Kern Valley Airport - Kernville, CA

L05 is a great place to practice mountain flying. Good food and a short trip to the Kern river for rafting. There is also camping on the field.

Airway Cafe - Porterville, CA

Really great experience for any traveler. Good service and food every time. Lot's of flying memorabilia on the walls and ceiling.

Annia's Kitchen - El Monte, CA

Annia's Kitchen is great! It's an nice airport restaurant with good service. The also have many townspeople who seem to like it too. Also on sundays, the El Monte Airport has a Vintage/Classic Aircraft Display day on the 4th Sunday of every Month.

Annie Ruths Restaurant - Brownsville, CA

Brownsville is the airport in the Lost Sierra. We are at 2100 ft, usually above the fog and below the snow. Annie Ruths restaurant is a local favorite and is about 500 ft from the tie down on the East end of the field. Usually open everyday but Monday.Good food at a fair price. Contact Jerry to borrow a car to see the area. We are in trout fishing country and are happy to tell you where they are biting. 800-668-9657

Auburn Airport-Wings Restaurant - Auburn, CA

Wings restaurant on the airfield is a great place to go for breakfast or lunch! Outside dinning on a covered patio is a perfect place to watch the planes come and go. The food is really good! Sometimes there is a wait, but you can have a coffee and read the paper at the picnic tables while you wait! Yummm!
