Airbus UpNext is looking for the Telecommunication Payload lead to explore 5G Non-Terrestrial-Network capabilities based on space platforms.

Our objective is to explore many new technologies and to support the strategic ambitions of Airbus. As such, be prepared for a wild ride, digging into unconventional ways of working, and be ready for many pivots throughout, as we will explore the unknown.

As a Telecommunication Payload Lead, you will be working directly with the lead of the satellite system, and your responsibilities will be all satellite payload activities, including mission SW. 

This position is based in Toulouse, and we will collaborate with teams across Europe and an international partnership landscape. 

This job comes with a 3 years CDI-C contract.

• LEO telecommunication 5G payloads competencies with strong background on

  • Reprogrammable On Board processor

  • On board mission SW

  • Antennas

  • Additional Knowledge on OISL and 5G would be a plus.
