| Fly into Darrington Municipal 1S2 for Rock the Mountain - a three-day classic rock festival at the Darrington Music Park, set in a forest amphitheater at the foot of Whitehorse Mountain. Run by the Whitehorse Musicians Guild, the 2026 lineup is headlined by Head East, with tributes to Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bob Seger, Pink Floyd, and more, plus camping, workshops, food, local crafts, and a beer garden. New this year: a Rockin' Wheels contest and awards for the best campsites. A few practical notes. The airport is day-VFR with no fuel and no services - top off before you come and bring your own tie-downs. The music park is a few miles west of town, so plan a folding bike or a ride.
