As a Logistics Manager II, youll be responsible for assisting with the planning and execution of contract related logistics efforts and successfully managing all logistics and depot support issues for our programs. Youll oversee and control the resources required to execute contracts in a cost effective and timely manner, interface with the customer and support customer requests, maintain overall responsibility for the logistics support function, and the development and execution of customer training programs and materials.

Must-haves:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field of study
  • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • In-depth understanding of ITAR regulations as they apply to the import and export of goods
  • Relevant experience working with logistics/warehouse environment and warehouse management systems
  • Progressive experience with the practical application of Supply Chain/Logistics principles and techniques
  • Ability to travel extensively, often overseas
  • Prior experience with handling and managing hazardous/dangerous goods and materials
  • Previous management experience; the ability to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence
  • An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Preferred:

  • Typically 4-6 years of relevant experience
  • A higher level degree may substitute for experience
  • Familiarity with operating military units, airborne SIGINT systems and aircraft sensor equipment
  • Understanding of third party shipping vendors and requirements
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $104,827.91 - $144,138.38. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

This position requires current/active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use.
