Job Summary The Project Manager / Planner – STC Integration is responsible for coordinating day-to-day execution of STC integration activities on the production floor. This role ensures alignment between engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and suppliers to maintain schedule, resolve issues, and enable smooth installation of STC modifications. The role acts as the central integrator of daily operations, driving follow-ups, removing blockers, and ensuring all inputs (parts, drawings, instructions) are available when needed. Direct Accountabilities Execution Coordination: Manage day-to-day STC integration activities on the production line, ensuring work progresses to plan. Schedule Management: Build, maintain, and track detailed execution schedules; identify risks and drive recovery actions. Parts Readiness: Follow up on material availability (kits, harnesses, components); escalate shortages and drive resolution with supply chain and suppliers. Cross-Functional Coordination: Align activities between Methods, Engineering, Production, Quality, and external partners to ensure readiness for installation. Issue Management: Track integration issues (parts, drawings, install challenges), ensure ownership, and drive timely closure. Change Coordination: Support implementation of engineering changes on the floor, ensuring timing and communication are aligned. Production Interface: Act as the primary coordination point for production teams, ensuring clarity of priorities and sequencing. Reporting: Provide daily/weekly status on progress, risks, and blockers to integration leadership. Education Required Degree or diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or related field Experience, skills, and attitude required 5+ years in aerospace manufacturing, production planning, or project coordination Experience working in cross-functional production environments Strong coordination and organizational skills High sense of ownership and urgency in execution environments Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve conflicts quickly Strong communication and stakeholder management Practical understanding of production flow, materials, and installation sequencing Role Focus Floor execution and short-term horizon (daily/weekly) Parts, schedule, and readiness-driven Closing gaps between plan and reality Working Conditions Maintain strict adherence to De Havilland Aircraft of Canada (DHC) Health & Safety Policies. Work in various environmental conditions, including temperature extremes, confined spaces, heights, and around chemicals. Must be able to climb, stand, kneel, lift (up to 50 pounds), push, pull, bend, reach, carry, walk, crawl, balance, and use stairs. Must be able to work shift rotations including weekends and/or night shifts, on-call or overtime as occasionally required. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required for workplace safety.
