11/16/2017 - Nice friendly airport. Walk across the FBO parking lot and onto the walking path, then a short distance to restaurants. We like Tony's, but there are others as well. Technically not on the airport, but a short, safe, and pretty walk to them. - Submitted by Andy

8/2/2011 - Flew in, talked to Sharon first who made sure the courtesy car was there... Place is pet friendly, a nice airport. Inexpensive flight training. We stopped over on the way to Traverse City, MI waiting for WX to clear.
It looks like there is a lot of lake activity nearby - water sports and perhaps house rentals. - Submitted by dcg
10/5/2008 - Sept 2008: Flew into Fulton County. First class place, no 24hr fuel. You can taxi south to near the Fire station and that will put you within 200yards of three great places to eat. Two bar type / mom pop places and a great Mexican joint. Awesome fly-in and eat destination. At the time of this posting, fuel is only 8 to 5.
